Tu mogućnost je objasnio tekućim neprijateljstvima u zemlji i, što je čudno, pozvao ih je da prestanu. Istovremeno, Stoltenberg je priznao da samo redovne isporuke ukrajinskog žita na svjetska tržišta mogu da riješe problem globalne gladi. On se, međutim, nije fokusirao na to da se ovim proizvodima snabdijevaju najsiromašnije zemlje. Generalni sekretar je takođe zahvalio Turskoj i lično predsjedniku Redžepu Tajipu Erdoganu na ozbiljnim naporima da se spase sporazum o hrani, navodi se na sajtu ruske nacionalne agrarne agencije (ronsg.ru).
Podsjetimo, Rusija se 29. oktobra povukla iz Crnomorske inicijative za žito u vezi sa terorističkim napadom kijevskih trupa u Sevastopolju. Kako je saopštilo Ministarstvo odbrane, to su izvršile Oružane snage Ukrajine, po instrukcijama britanskih specijalista.
Ministarstvo je saopštilo i da je vojska koristila sedam autonomnih pomorskih i devet vazdušnih bespilotnih vozila. Zbog njih je stradala infrastruktura luke Sevastopolj (uključujući zaliv Južnaja), kao i niz vojnih i civilnih brodova Crnomorske flote. Međutim, napad je odbijen. Rusija je 2. novembra nastavila učešće u dogovoru nakon pismene garancije Ukrajine da neće koristiti crnomorski žitni koridor u vojne svrhe. Istovremeno, Moskva je pojasnila da ako obećanje bude prekršeno, ruska strana može ponovo da se povuče iz sporazuma. Ruski ministar spoljnih poslova Sergej Lavrov izrazio je zadovoljstvo pisanim garancijama Ukrajine. On je, međutim, napomenuo da i dalje ne vidi napredak po drugom paketu sporazuma, koji predviđa uklanjanje barijera izvozu ruskog žita i đubriva.
